  Abstract	Resumo: Será possível dissociar a superação ou o fim da metafísica do topos tão frequente do “fim da filosofia”? Este artigo responde à pergunta, mostrando que a filosofia contemporânea se encontra num dilema ainda não resolvido: ou defende o fim da metafísica a fim de salvar a filosofia de perecer, ou aceita o fim histórico-cultural da filosofia como uma forma específica de conhecimento.  Palavras-chave: fim da filosofia, fundacionalismo, metafilosofia, metafísica, pós-metafísica  Abstract: Is it possible to dissociate the overcoming or the end of metaphysics from the so frequented topos of the “end of philosophy”? This paper answers the question by showing that contemporary philosophy finds itself in a still unresolved dilemma: either backs the end of metaphysics in order to save philosophy from perishing, or accept the historical-cultural end of philosophy as a specific form of knowledge.  Keywords: foundationalism, metaphilosophy, metaphysics, end of philosophy, postmetaphysics
