  Abstract	Resumo: A abordagem aqui apresentada insere-se no âmbito do pensamento metafísico e pós-metafísico da ‘filosofia continental’ e dedica-se, em particular, aos contributos de Heidegger e Sloterdijk. Não se pretende fazer nem um resumo completo, nem um mero resumo dos pensamentos dos dois autores sobre a questão da metafísica. Antes, focar um aspecto particular que inere à noção de metafísica tal como foi pensada não só por Heidegger e Sloterdijk, mas também por outros pensadores pós-tradicionais: o aspeto ‘traumatológico’. A escolha deste termo deve-se à intenção de mostrar que há uma afinidade lógica entre um dos problemas fundamentais (ou talvez o problema fundamental) da metafísica e a lógica do trauma. A primeira parte do artigo guiar-se-á pela famosa questão “O que é a Metafísica?”, dando especial relevo aos dois aspetos do ‘inquietante’ e do ‘nada’ nas obras de Heidegger e Sloterdijk. A segunda parte tem a função de evidenciar a ‘traumatologia’ destas reflexões metafísicas. Palavras-chave: antropologia, Heidegger, metafísica, Sloterdijk, trauma Abstract: The analysis presented in this article falls within the framework of metaphysical and postmetaphysical thought in the so-called ‘continental philosophy’ and focuses particularly on the contributions of Heidegger and Sloterdijk. It is not intended to give here a complete summary, or a mere summary of the thoughts of the two authors on the question of metaphysics. Instead, I shall focus on an aspect that, in my view, inheres not only the notion of metaphysics carried out by Heidegger and Sloterdijk, but also by other post-traditional philosophers: the ‘traumatological’ aspect. The choice of this term is motivated by the intention to show that there is a logical affinity between one of the most fundamental problems of metaphysics and the logic of trauma. The first part of the article is guided by the famous question “What is Metaphysics?”, with special emphasis on the two aspects of the ‘uncanny’ and the ‘nothing’ in the works of Heidegger and Sloterdijk. The second part aims to highlight the logic of trauma that inheres to these metaphysical reflections. Keywords: anthropology, Heidegger, metaphysics, Sloterdijk, trauma
