Revista Portuguesa de Humanidades, Portuguese Journal of Humanities (RPH) is a specialized periodical Journal, created in 1997, by professors and researchers from the Humanities area of the Faculty of Philosophy of the Portuguese Catholic University in Braga.
Aimed at an open public, and assuming an interdisciplinary character, the Portuguese Journal of Humanities (RPH) aims to promote and disseminate referencial scientific studies, within the priority thematic framework of the areas of Humanities and Social Sciences, in particular Literary Studies, Classical Studies, Linguistic Studies and Cultural Studies.
Responding to today's challenges, and seeking to meet the most demanding criteria of internationalization of academic journals, the Portuguese Journal of Humanities (RPH) has been investing for several years in a peer review system supported by the gradual expansion of its Scientific Committee, made up of renowned national and foreign scholars, and in the publication of articles from different countries and universities, in the main european languages (Portuguese, English, French, Spanish, Italian and German).
Having started a new series in 2007, with a change in graphic design and the publication of two separate volumes, one for Linguistic Studies and one for Literary Studies, the Portuguese Journal of Humanities (RPH), simultaneously renewed and true to tradition, prepares now to be re-launched in 2019 in the form of an annual mixed volume that welcomes the contributions of the three areas of the Humanities (Literary Studies, Classical Studies and Linguistic Studies).
