  Abstract	Resumo: Meu objetivo neste artigo é apresentar uma vinculação teórica possível entre uma semântica naturalizada (em particular, a biosemântica) e abordagens metafísicas tradicionais em ontologia. A semântica naturalizada precisa estabelecer algumas pressuposições ontológicas, assim como a ontologia tradicional. Porém o método usado é bem diferente e parece levar a diferentes resultados. Isso é apenas parcialmente correto. A análise conceitual metafísica, que é parte de novas abordagens metafísicas contemporâneas, usa o conhecimento científico de maneira bastante diversa à semântica naturalizada. Porém existe um elo: as reflexões filosóficas acerca de estruturas linguísticas, acerca de expressões linguísticas e suas funções, e acerca da referência e conteúdo dessas expressões. Logo, existe uma sobreposição de método e conteúdo e também uma complementariedade entre a semântica naturalizada e a ontologia analítica contemporânea tradicional, porque ambas focam em funções mentais e linguísticas para poderem pensar sobre o que são objetos.  Palavras-chave: Semântica naturalizada; Ontologia; Biosemântica; Referência; Funções linguísticas; Métodos filosófico.  Abstract: My goal in this paper is to present a possible theoretical link between naturalized semantics—in particular, biosemantics—and traditional metaphysical approaches to ontology. Naturalized semantics needs to establish some ontological presuppositions, such as exist in traditional ontology. However, the method of the two disciplines is very different, and this seems to lead to different results. This is only partly correct. Metaphysical conceptual analysis, which is one of several new metaphysical approaches, uses diverse forms of scientific knowledge, as does naturalized semantics. There are significant links: both disciplines engage in philosophical reflections over mental and linguistic structures, over linguistic expressions and their functions, and over the reference and content of these expressions. There exists, then, an overlap of method and content and also a complementarity between naturalized semantics and traditional contemporary analytical ontology, in that both focus on mental and linguistic functions, in order to think about what objects are.  Keywords: Naturalized Semantics; Ontology; Biosemantics; Reference; Linguistic functions; Philosophical Methods.
