| Abstract | In recent years, we have witnessed an increase in interest in Phraseology in Europe, manifested in flows of language that focus of the study of the phrasal units in the context. The objective of this work is to collect the outstanding ideas about one of the most complex types of phrasal units that there are, the phrasal statements ‒sequences are prefabricated, which are themselves speech acts, whose meaning is updated in communicative situations with concrete and the conversation area preferred use (Solano Rodríguez 2012: 119)‒, placing them within the wording and separating them of the rest of the units that make up this discipline. Also, we will try to analyze each of the properties that they manifest, establishing the functions of pragmatic-discourse of some of the phrasalstatements most common of the Portuguese, offering frameworks situational that enable your learning on the part of foreign students and locating the realizations of linguistic equivalents in Spanish. The dependence of situational phrasal statements in their use of discourse requires a pragmatic analysis of these units, hence the adoption in our work from a perspective of pragmatic-discursive, as the only one able to offer satisfactory explanations about the actual behavior, the productivity and the way in which speakers use these units.
