  Abstract	Resumo Na doutrina kantiana do Direito é fundamental a ligação entre o Direito e a autorização para exercer a coerção exterior. O presente estudo visa levantar algumas questões sobre essa conexão, particularmente a da possibilidade do justo impedimento às liberdades pela coerção exterior, apontando certas dificuldades nela envolvidas. A consideração de tais questões e dificuldades conduz à interpretação e análise do conceito de livre-arbítrio, como repercussões desse problema, intrínseco ao conceito de livre-arbítrio. Palavras-chave : Kant, coerção, Direito, livre-arbítrio, posse inteligível  Abstract In the Kantian doctrine of Law the connection between Law and the authorization to prosecute external coercion is fundamental. This study seeks to raise some questions about that connection, particularly the possibility of just impediment to personal liberties by exterior coercion, pointing some difficulties involved in it. The consideration of those questions and difficulties leads to the interpretation and analysis of the concept of free-will, in which one detects the problematic coexistence of its constitutive characteristics, namely, freedom and the aptitude of being affected by impulses of sensibility. These difficulties, and others raised by the concept of intelligible possession [possessio noumenon] of an external object, can be seen as consequences of this problem, intrinsic to the concept of free-will.
