    Abstract Nel Noddings criticizes liberal education and advances an alternate vision supported by ethic of care. This paper will consider three correlated points: desprofessionalization, structural reorganization of the school, relations mediated by ethic of care. It ends with two notes. Firstly, the importance of the Standford philosopher’s proposal that detects hegemony and neglect in the formation activity. She detects a relational shortage that trivializes vocational education, so it is important to disband. Second, the critique of liberal education that ignores the way people talk about their lives is of significance because it leads to the ‘real education’ of real human beings. Noddings opens a serious path for the radicalization of educational action and she contributes to philosophical thinking about education.
