| Abstract | The purpose of this article is to analyze the reasons that led Husserl to transcendental idealism. Starting from an essay by Roman Ingarden, disciple of Husserl, we will see and deepen three of the main reasons, namely, the attempt to make philosophy a rigorous science, problems about the true method of knowledge and some results about outer perception and inner perception. With this, we will better understand Husserl’s relationship with transcendental idealism. |
